Guilds Using Zoom

Guilds are holding board meetings, general membership meetings, classes and informal small-group meetings via Zoom.

Guild members love three things the most:

  • The get to see and talk to each other again!
  • They can see all demos up close when the demo is on screen.
  • They have their whole stash to work from and don’t have to carry anything anywhere or worry about driving or parking!

Listen and watch as Bonnie Barber, Susan Katz and Ranell Hansen (The Guild Zoom Team) of the Coastal Quilters Guild of Santa Barbara and Goleta, California describe how they started using Zoom for their 100 member guilds and how they continue to grow and use it.

The Silicon Valley Modern Quilt Guild held their first Zoom meeting and wrote a great blog post about it here….

Even Churches are using Zoom to bring services to their members! https://www.videomaker.com/podcast/clips/churches-are-running-to-stream-their-services/

Zoom is a video conferencing service that is gaining rapid popularity and use.

Participants can see each other and hear each other, holding conversations, sharing ideas and holding up projects, getting caught up with each other.
