Rachel Rossi is a quilt pattern designer and fabric designer based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Originally from rural Pennsylvania, she studied and practiced interior design before building her career in the quilting industry.
Known for her unique, modern aesthetic, Rachel creates patterns that are approachable for beginners while still engaging for experienced quilters. Her work spans quilts, garments, and home décor, and her fabric collections with Benartex bring her signature style to life in fresh, inspiring ways.
Rachel’s teaching style is warm, encouraging, and rooted in her passion for making quilting accessible to the next generation. Her trunk shows blend personal storytelling with a behind-the-scenes look at her creative journey, while her workshops focus on building confidence and skill…both trunk shows and workshops include LOTS of quilts and samples!
One of her newest offerings is her Big Stitch Binding workshop, where students learn a beautiful, hand-finished technique that adds texture and personality to any quilt. This class emphasizes thoughtful finishing, approachable hand stitching, and practical techniques students can use again and again.
